Cultists Kill And Roast 9-Yr-Old In Niger State
Cultists Kill And Roast 9-Yr-Old In Niger State
Niger State police have arrested suspected cultists who specialize in eating roasted human’s flesh. The cult members were detained on August 21 in Kuso village, Lavun LGA, Nigerian Tribune reports. The group included an elderly woman identified as Fatima. One Mohammed handed over his son Umar to his mother (Umar’s grandmother) Fatima to look after
the boy pending father’s arrival from the journey within the state. Meanwhile, the main suspect Fatima allegedly
handed over the boy to another suspect named Tetengi with the prospective to kill the 9-year-old and eat his flesh in the group of 3. Tetengi slaughtered Umar and roasted his body then shared it with Fatima and the Aminatu, the third cultist. The father came back from trip and did not find his child at his mother’s house. Fatima told him that his
boy had disappeared shortly after Mohammed left adding that she had not seen him since. Following the incident, Mohammed invited an Islamic scholar to shed the light on strange disappearance, a police source said, adding that the prayer allowed it to be revealed that Fatima was lying. According to Crime & Security, the case was immediately reported to the police by the family, following which the operatives started investigation. As soon as the suspected cultists were arrested, all 3 confessed to the crime, with one of them saying that human’s flesh was tastier than that of an animal . All the suspects are soon to face charges.
